A Perfect Family Reunion Destination – Spooner Lake Island Oasis is Exceptional! Our family spent an unforgettable week at Spooner Lake for a reunion, and it exceeded every expectation. The property comfortably accommodated our large group—30 adults and 10 kids under 11—with ease and style. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout. Beds were cozy, bathrooms plentiful, and every room was inviting. The kitchen was a dream—fully equipped with top-tier appliances and plenty of room for group cooking. We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor dining spaces, and the pizza oven became an instant favorite. Lake activities were a highlight for all ages—kayaks, paddle boards, a pontoon bike, and more kept everyone engaged. The fishing was fantastic and easy for kids and adults alike to enjoy. Back on land, the competitive spirit was alive with games of pickleball, basketball, croquet, and even frisbee golf. The kids took full advantage of the theater room, organizing a Talent Show that became one of the week’s most cherished memories. Everything worked seamlessly, from the amenities to the layout. The location is ideal—secluded and peaceful, yet just a short drive to town with a well-stocked grocery store and a fun golf course. Spooner Lake was the perfect backdrop for a week of connection, laughter, and lasting memories. We couldn’t recommend it more highly for large family gatherings. We’re already looking forward to our return!

Absolutely an amazing place! This was for a teambuilding retreat, but this place would be perfect for a family reunion, a large group of friends to gather a wedding. In addition to the surroundings and the furnishings by far the best stocked kitchen I have ever been in. Their guide and welcome book is also the best I’ve seen from any owner.

The Lodge on Long Lake was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a company retreat. We had plenty of room to sit, relax and play games. There was 23 of us (staff and spouses) and never felt cramped or confined. The clubhouse was a hit as employees played basketball and ping pong. The theater in the clubhouse allowed everyone to sit comfortably during the trainings each day. Spouses were able to relax in the lodge or play Frisbee golf. The hot tub was used many times and enjoyed by all. We especially loved the extra large kitchen, multiple sinks and dishwashers and 2 large fridges in the kitchen, as well as additional fridges in the clubhouse and in the lower level. Everything was as described and we were never disappointed. The kayaks and water bikes were a hit and having the lifevests supplied was appreciated. They have thought of everything and not once did we get bored. We all hated to leave as it was so amazing. I have already reached out to Brad and Seth to rebook for next year's retreat. I would highly recommend this lodge for anyone looking for a retreat location, family event or wedding.

The home has everything you could ask for from entertainment, lodging (comfortable beds) modernized bathrooms, views over a gorgeous lake with amazing fishing, boating, pools, arcade, movie area, penthouse suite, and plenty more. I would highly recommend this for any family outings, weddings, events and more!

Stayed here for a wedding weekend and all I can say is, WOW! These folks have clearly built up an incredibly beautiful property, perfect for really any occasion! Very impressed with the overall warm aesthetic and coziness this large property provided! Highly recommend.

I went for my sister’s wedding! It was amazing, loved everything. The house was beautifully made, would definitely go again!  It was beautiful in this cold weather, imagine how it would be like in the summer!
